The following instructions apply only to the Select Business Department:

  • Add location and coverages in TAM.
  • Call Underwriter &/or Service Center to confirm that location is acceptable to be added to policy & obtain confirmation via email.

If location cannot be added to current policy for any underwriting reason, then the property should be marketed as new business.

  • Email endorsement request to appropriate Service Center/Endorsement Issuing Dept and cc the company underwriter.
  • Follow up with Underwriter within 24 hours to confirm location is being added.
  • Enter endorsement activity in TAM (use SE-1 code) and list all detailed information regarding change request in description box. Activity will automatically diary follow up for 30 days.
  • If endorsement is not received from carrier within 30 days send 2nd request.
  • When endorsement is received, close activity accordingly.
