Underwriting Cancellation & Non-Renewal Notices come in and are scanned to accounting.

Underwriting Cancellations

  • Accounting forwards Underwriting Notice to Bob Wolfe’s ET File.
  • Bob creates a Q-CX, attaches notice via ET & assigns to QT, which is assigned to an Associate.
  • Quest Associate sends an email  to  AE and Producer with Canc Notice attached.
  • The e-mail is attached to a new Q-CX activity and renamed “(S) Und Notice eff 5/1/09″.
  • Quest closes out their Q-CX activity and flips back original Q-CX to Bob W. to pend for the Reinstatement Notice.
  • Bob’s activity is left open pending for reinstatement
  • Bob follows up with AE for status & carrier (if needed) for reinstatement within 2 weeks of the last note put into the activity.

 

NOTE:

  • Account Executive documents status and closes out the Q-CX activity if policy is not going to be reinstated.
  • All Cancellation Notices received by AEs must be forwarded to Bob Wolfe.
  • All Reinstatement Notices received by AEs must be forwarded to Bob Wolfe.

 

 Non-Renewal Notices

  • Accounting forwards Non-renewal Notices to Bob Wolfe’s ET File.
  • Bob creates a Q-NR & assigns to QT, which is assigned to an Associate.
  • Quest Associate sends an email to AE and Producer with N/R Notice attached.
  • The e-mail is attached to a new Q-NR activity and renamed “(S) N/R Notice eff 5/1/09″.
  • Quest closes out their Q-NR activity.
  • Flip original Q-NR back to Bob notating it was sent to AE & Producer & Okay to Close out.

Reinstatement Notices are attached to the original Q-CX activity via ET and activity is closed out.
